WOW we had a really busy weekend! Let's see, where to start, I guess from the beginning of the day! Saturday morning, after the kids breakfast, we took them to get their passport photos taken. I can't believe these guys are going to be international babies! Skyler was the first to go, in the beginning she was crying, not sure what we're doing, and got out of her chair. We put her back on and she was OK, not happy and not crying and she actually looked straight forward so the guy took the picture in one shot...did it! One down two more to go!!! The boys on the other hand, took some time. Tobin took the longest since he's teething, all he wants is Daddy to hold him. Dan tried holding him, but leaning away so he wouldn't be in the picture, but that wasn't working too well. It took us forever to get the boys photo; they didn't want to look straight forward and kept wiggling out of the chair. Since we were at Walgreens we went and got all sorts of stuff to distract them: toys, dog toys, bag of chips, batteries, basically anything that made noise. That's the trick, we each gave them something to hold, plus one of us was holding something that made noise above the guy taking the picture and they looked straight on. Don't know why it took us so long to think of that! When it was Tobin's turn, Hudson entertained him by pushing the battery display- he coulnd't get enough of that! I can check this off my list of things to do for the move.
After their nap, we took them to one of my friend, kid's birthday party. Alyssa's daughter Noemi is turning 4 this month. They had to have it early since her second daughter is coming any day now. She's ready for her to come out! Of course, whenever we have somewhere to go after their nap, they ALWAYS sleep the longest! We're waiting and waiting for them to wake up...finally 3:45 was when they did, they usually wake up about 2:30-3, but you never know. They like to keep mommy guessing everyday. When we got there, Hudson was the first one to run inside and started playing w/the toys, he just made himself at home! Tobin and Skyler cried a little, but they quickly got over it and started playing too. They had a really good time even though they were too small to play some of the games there. They nibbled on some hot dog buns and some fruits. They really like their dog Kobe...it's so great to see them used to dogs and not be afraid of them, Kobe is really big too, bigger than Molly.
After we put the kids down, Matthew came and babies sat for us so we could go have dinner w/Dan's family since his uncle Howard and aunt Jackie were in town. They went to Dallas first to visit Grandma and wanted to come visit the babies. Thanks Matthew for another evening out!

This is really cute: this was taken as we were trying to leave. We couldn't find Skyler and called out her name. This is what I saw when I opened Noemi's room. Priceless!!!
